With an impact energy of 2.8J and 0-5000bpm this drill will be able to tackle a variety of tough materials with ease. For example, it can drill into concrete to a maximum of 28mm, steel to 13mm and wood to 32mm.

The trigger operated variable speed control and forward / reverse rotation gives you flexibility over how you approach your work, and the LED work light will allow you to continue working in dark areas. ; To make this drill more comfortable to use Makita has fitted a "soft no-load" function that automatically reduces the motor speed during idling to suppress the vibration of the machine body which, combined with anti-vibration technology, lessens fatigue over prolonged use.
