RAM Heavy-Duty Auto/Truck Seat Rail Mount for larger laptops, up to 16 wide - No Drilling Required!!! A universal spring loaded expandable tray that can accommodate 10" to 16" wide laptops and is compatible with laptops that have 17 screens. The tray includes four (4) side clamping arm with rubber grip feature. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally, allowing for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives. Hole patterns on perimeter of tray facilitate the mounting of additional RAM systems to support GPS, PDAs or other electronics. Comes with the RAM POD III, universal No-Drill Heavy-Duty vehicle mount with ratcheting arm. Includes 3 aluminum rods with decorative black plastic sleeves; easily bent and/or cut as needed to position your device to its optimum viewing location. The double socket arm can be adjusted and includes sockets that allow for the Tough-Tray to rotate 360 degrees. See the last picture for mounting detail - all that is required is three bolts that you can get to close to the desired location. Virtually any car or truck with bucket or split bench seats should have one there, and for the other two you can go various places under the dash. If you have a console, look around right next to it under the front of the passenger seat. No-Drill doesn't mean no effort - you'll need to be reasonably handy & know your way around your vehicle. You will have to locate the appropriate attachment points in your vehicle and bend and/or cut the support rods to fit your situation. It's not rocket science but it's not a 30 minute job either.
